A picturesque waterfall located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Edenfield Waterfall cascades 20 feet down a rocky slope, creating a misty veil that surrounds the area. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and moss-covered stones, with a gentle stream running beneath it. The serene atmosphere and tranquil sounds of the waterfall make it a perfect spot for relaxation and contemplation.
Wonderful walk along the stream with plenty of chances to wade in and cool your feet down during summer. Just be aware there is no parking on the little road that shows up on Google maps, and you would have to park along the street somewhere. This could be dangerous as there is little pedestrian protection with cars and trucks zooming by so extra caution if you're taking kids. Once that hazard has been overcome, go visit the waterfall but the real interest is past that walking along the stream which is invigorating and soothing at the same time. Definitely worth the visit.
Very little parking but what a stunning place ,you can jus walk on another 5 minute and you feel your in the countryside, give yourself plenty of time to explore
A wonderful little hidden gem off the main road. A short walk down a well trodden path reveals a really nice waterfall. The walk can be extended by walking further up the river, however the path soon stops. All in all about a 4km walk. Definitely recommend, some lovely scenery in a really peaceful setting.
What a beautiful place to go to take photographs and even if you want to take portraits of someone with a beautiful backdrop of a waterfall. You could also bring your little one or partner for a picnic, in a lovely relaxing spot. Not far from Rochdale Road, you can walk it in maybe 15 minutes.
Small water fall, steep to get down too, but you can paddle in the pool and enjoy the water.
Great little waterfall in a hidden forest I never knew this place was here. It really is a hidden gem. It is a nice place to go for a walk there is a nice waterfall and further up a small stream and a wooden bench to sit down and relax. One thing I would also say is when it has rained the waterfall area gets very muddy and gos like quicksand.
