A 19th-century Victorian-era public park featuring a large boating lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation, surrounded by mature trees and vibrant floral displays.
A nice clean park with a variety of short tarmac paths and woodland earth trails. There is also a childrens' playpark. There are two car parks. The first is next to the childrens' playpark (15 spaces approximately) and the second at the hockey/football multisports pitch & tennis club (20 spaces approximately). We saw no litter and no dog fouling which was a nice surprise. The park is well used by both families and dog walkers. Overall, this is a nice place to visit if you live locally.
Great place for walking also dog friendly but keep on lead some irritability dog owners let them run free though signs up keep pets on lead
Seems to have improved with regards to litter. Lovely to see the flowers and fauna in the grounds. It would be great if the toileting facilities were better, instead of a portakabin. I do hope dog owners keep their dogs under control.
Lovely park and walks live the secret garden but it's only ever open during council work hours which is not convenient for working people
