Edgbaston Village is rapidly establishing itself as a vibrant leisure and lifestyle destination. It has been created in recent years to give Edgbaston a heart and offer a thriving atmosphere which continues throughout the day, into the evening and weekends. The Village boasts a growing home interest and lifestyle offering, whilst the gastro quarter has gone from strength-to-strength. In addition to Michelin-starred Simpson, it has seen the opening of a wide range of award-winning food and beverage establishments. With the variety of establishments, easy access, the attractive, green and leafy location with character properties, in addition to on-site car parking, it is easy to see why it is an emerging leisure and lifestyle location.
The artisan market is lovely, the stall holders seem so much friendlier than other markets I've been to. There are also other cafes bars and shops to check out which on market day can be fairly busy. The market I think is every second saturday of the month, and is well worth a visit.
Visited on a Saturday morning. Great range of artisan stalls with a lovely choice of foods and crafts, not too crowded but well attended. Pleasant local environment with lots of local places for more food and drink.
Visited the artisan market. Great selection of stalls. Purchased herbs, sausage and Arancini balls, all recommended!
This is a really lovely area to visit. Regular artisan market which is one of the best we've been to, selling food, drink and crafts/art. Gorgeous art gallery, shops, bars and restaurants. We go regularly and always have a great experience. Easy parking on street or local metered parking areas. Make sure you go with an empty tummy as you'll want to fill it here. Great shopping if you love to fill your home with beautiful things.
It is a nice street to visit, it has several restaurants and coffee shops and it is about half a mile. Also, there is a free car park for 2 hours near the Boston tea party.
All these years living in Birmingham, and I never knew this existed. Great market.
