Edgcumbe is a small village located on the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall, England. It is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland, and is close to the coastal path that offers scenic views of the Plymouth Sound and the surrounding coastline. The village has a few old cottages, a church, and a village hall, but is largely rural and quiet. It is a popular spot for walkers and those seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Great NT cottage in a very quiet location with two beaches close by and some wonderful walks. One problem was that we were invaded with bees one day that took over the kitchen. The NT did their best by providing telephone advice and a visit the day after the bees were gone. So I was left to chase the invading bees out of the kitchen window so that we could you use the kitchen again.
Lovely National Trust cottage, quiet and cosy with everything you need
Cool
Good for kids
