50-acre park since 1921 with a sports complex/leisure centre, plus a picnic area, lake & playground.
Went for the circus. Granddaughter loved the park and seeing the swans and ducks on the lake. Very safe and great big field to run off energy. Was clean and well kept equipment in the park and fully enclosed. The circus was fantastic and a great summer edition to the park. Plenty of parking and would be great for a picnic on a Sunny day.
It was hot and sunny, an unusual event, but the park was very quiet, not many kids were about and they're still on school holidays. There's a cafe there, I purchased a flat white normally this is strong, but on tasting it, it was more of a burnt coffee than strong. I will just stick with a soft drink next time.
Disappointed after visiting after many years and was sorry to say only a shadow of it's former self.
Stopped by to let the kids play on the skate park. Good park with lots of ramps. Not too busy and no sign of any bad behaviour from other users as mentioned in other reviews.
Great little park if you want to get of the beach and let the kids play on the zipwire, swings, slide etc. There is a trim trail, boating lake (model boats), tennis courts etc picnic tables, shady trees and not far from the prom
Parked up for a few hours on the sea front at Colwyn Bay to unwind and relax. And, not that this is anything to do with the place, but the weather was lovely. The cost for parking on the sea front was a reasonable price, and the public toilets were nice and clean (and free) Left feeling recharged and happy.
