A charming, quaint steam railway. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea. The journey isn't a long one, but memorable one. The staff were attentive and friendly. A shout out for Phoebe and Delilah and one whose name we didn't catch. (Sorry!) The food was just perfect. The endless tea and coffee were very welcome. Views of the Dales and the sounds of the steam engine! There was time at the Bolton Abbey station to hop off and look around the souvenir shop.

Great little train stations, we really enjoyed our steam train ride and English breakfast. The carriage was an authentic first-class carriage. We were served a hot breakfast with fresh juice and tea or coffee. We enjoyed the ride to the next station where we were able to stretch our legs and have a quick luck in the gift shop. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely do it again.

Amazing Fawlty Towers Dining Experience! The welcome was so warm and genuine from the gentleman at the cafe who checked us in and gave us a glass of bubbly. The environment was well looked after, and onboard staff were accommodating and wonderful. The parking was amazing and extremely well maintained, brand new looking in fact. I highly recommend a visit here for any of their experiences, including their murder mystery events which sound exciting!

Had the breakfast on the stream train. Lovely little trip with a great breakfast and good service. Enjoyed browsing the bric a brac shop at the Embsay end of the track and had a lovely piece of cake and a look around the gift shop at the Bolton Abbey Station. Very enjoyable morning.

Had a great experience at the weekend. We had booked the breakfast 1st class dining experience. We were thoroughly looked after throughout with efficient staff who served everything piping hot. I recommend wearing warm clothes if it's cold, the train takes a while to get warm!

Lovely little train journey with amenities at both ends, we were last on so ended up in the queen Victoria carriages, the owner gave us a brief history of the railway and enlightened us how much work had gone into restoring the carriages, food is available at both of the main stops, fresh and reasonably priced.
