The England/Scotland Border is a natural boundary that separates the two countries, marked by the Cheviot Hills and stretching for approximately 96 miles (154 km) from the Solway Firth in the west to the North Sea in the east. The border region is characterized by rolling hills, scenic valleys, and picturesque villages, offering a tranquil atmosphere and a rich history that dates back to the 10th century. Visitors can explore the border's many historic sites, including Hadrian's Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Kielder Water & Forest Park, which offers opportunities for hiking, biking, and water sports.
It's the border between the greatest country on Earth and England. We stopped at both sides and enjoyed the flags, the views and the information. If you are on this road I highly recommend stopping for a visit.
There is England and Scotland stone. Nice view around. Stone mentioned distance from that point.
SCOTLAND FOOOORREEEVVVAHHHH (love you scotland) (perfect place to pull over and get some pictures with both signs!!)
Nice place, parking right on the border. Good for parking overnight if You're a van driver. Enough space for that.
A great place to stop before you cross the border.
I was on the southbound road entering England from Scotland. There was some information boards about berwick upon Tweed. Couple of flags. The opposite side is more exciting, they have a food place for snacks. Be careful there are a couple of speed camera's nearby, not sure if they're still in operation
