Super team. School trip for Y4 kids with an orienteering workshop and a nature trail in the woods. Parents were following. There is also a nice souvenir shop and an art exhibition inside the visitor centre. Next to it is a lovely cafe and a cross the street a car park.
Great volunteering for Epping Heritage Conservation Trust. Getting fresh air and finally knowing why cutting certain hawthorns near a tree that needs more light is important to their survival. Looking forward to participating actively to more projects of this kind and I shall be happy to conduct workshops in 2D to 3D 360 and macro photography
Was open 10 till 4 the Queen Elizabeth the 1st Lodge until 1. So I made it on time. Emers yourself in the history or the area. Lots of walking routes also spotted parrots rather odd as not indigenous
A great asset for the area - we visited the gift shop, and sells all things championing the local area, details of walks, information about Epping Forest and bits for kids. The View also has a community room available to hire, and toilets & baby changing facilities - which is super useful on an active family day out! :)
Great place to go for a long walk with family, highly recommend if you need to clear your mind or just get away from busy life.
