Epsom Well is a natural spring that was a popular gathering place in the 17th and 18th centuries. The well is situated in a charming woodland setting and features a picturesque walk along a tranquil stream. Visitors can explore the well's history and significance at the on-site heritage centre, which showcases exhibits and artifacts that tell the story of Epsom's spa heritage. The well itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens, making it a peaceful oasis in the heart of the town.
Open access and free - the well is located in a quiet residential area, there were no other visitors when we went. Although the structure is new, there are plaques that explain the history of the place.
Nice place to visit...
Nice country walk. Bins only located at entrance areas so there is potential for litter. Nice place. Good for disabled and no hills. Will certainly come again.
Wow, what a thrillride! Nothing gets the adrenaline pumping like a trip to Epsom Well. A culturally significant, fascinating, historical landmark, everyone in my tour group loved it. Definitely will be returning, over and over again, if i can take the excitement.
better if visitors could try a sip of the well water
Lacking enthusiasm to fully describe the thrill of finding this on the 2nd attempt.. certainly wish the first attempt had been 'successful'
