This place is a very friendly place for kids, adults and animals as there are water bowls for dogs outside the shop and you also can buy snacks for animals! The food is very good and also it is located inside a park so that if you're thirsty/hungry you can do that!
This is one of the nicest country parks I've ever visited. Plenty of hard standing parking. It is very well maintained, and kept very clean and tidy. Lovely for all, Wether you are cycling, walking the dogs, or jogging. The most of the park is nice and flat, with a nice fishing lake during the season. Great visitors center, with a cafe, offering basic foods and drinks at a reasonable price.
Very good visitor centre. Food and drinks available, spacious with a shop and a little section telling the story of the former RAF Hornchurch site.
Read reviews Looked lovely Went for a nice walk beforehand Arrived and saw this "Head office" instructions apparently
I visited here in October 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. This was a welcome rest stop with toilets, a cafe, a shop and information about the park.
Lovely little stop off for a coffee and a quick bite to eat before, during or after a walk. Also a nice bit of history around the old hornchurch airfield and it's part in the Battle of Britain. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating too.
