Nice place for a small walk around. The signs have some information on but would love to know more about the place and it's history. There are benches to have a picnic. A small coffee shoe in peak season would be nice. Not great for disabled or pushchairs due to hills and ruins. Still a nice place to see x
Quite a good historic site to visit, with the remains of the castle well-preserved and plenty of informative displays about its role during the Anglo-Scots border wars. Nice scenic views around the castle and convenient parking with a nearby pub. Worth a visit alongside Ford Castle just down the road.
An impressive ruined castle, still imposing and you are able to get up close and touch. There are some information boards about which are very interesting and the castle stands on the boundary of a lovely little village. Well worth a visit
