Lovely walk around the watercress beds. The centre is open once a month and there are guides tours so check the website for dates - we didn't go to one. Still a lovely walk around the beds and village that can be done in a loop. Also with the 20mph speed limits it is quiet for young kids exploring.
Heard about this place, wanted to visit as we were down the road in Roke. The watercress beds is a lovely walk, along the sides and over the bridge, we saw some birds, rabbits, had a walk along the side, saw some amazing houses and enjoyed the sun, fresh air and seeing nature bloom. The place is free to explore so worth having a visit one day!!
Open gardens in Ewelme, beautiful gardens backing onto the watercress stream. Ended up buying a plant from the last garden. One garden had a Ferguson tractor. Tea and cakes at the watercrest centre.
Really pretty and quiet. My daughter enjoyed looking for different insects and creatures
Forget Winchester. If you want to see water cress , this is the spot. Great to see it preserved.
