Falkland Estate is a great place to visit for walking and cycling. We have over 27km of pathways, bridges, historic buildings and great views, as well as access to the Lomond Hills Regional Park. At the Stables building there's a cafe (open 10am to 4pm every day), a craft shop and art gallery. We also host a variety of craft activities. We hire out our unique spaces - both indoor and out - for weddings and other events. We host events such as the Build School on the Field of Learning. There are two free car parks at either entrance to the Estate but please consider making a donation to assist with upkeep.
What a great part of the country. So quaint. We visited the pub in the square and sat outside. Great coffee and the interior was so so well presented. Staff were great too. Really friendly.

Nestled in the heart of Fife, this stunning estate features vast woodlands, beautiful gardens, and historical landmarks that make it a must-visit spot. Exploring the estate's extensive network of trails, we enjoyed scenic walks through ancient woodlands, past sparkling streams, and alongside lush meadows. We were enchanted by the grandeur of Falkland Palace, a former royal residence with rich history and beautiful architecture. Did a short walk and lunch at the Stables cafe. Plenty of parking but going through Falkland is a bit of a nightmare, feel sorry for the local residents.
Lovely grounds to walk around, explore with views, water falls and old monuments and other ruins.
We've been here a good few times, lots to see on the walks around, great for a family walk or a dog walk. The cafe is very good too, good selection of food and drinks, indoor and outdoor seats, the outdoor seating is covered.
Pleasant woodland setting, cafe & areas for hosting different events in an old converted stable block with courtyard. Indoor & outdoor seating areas, takeaway coffee plus craft / gift shop. Large car park that does get busy at weekends as the area is popular with dog walkers & people accessing the tracks up onto the Lomond Hills. Cycle paths are also marked up for the area.
