Highland waterfall on a river known for leaping salmon in summer, with a lookout & visitor center.
The falls are really very impressive. Stand here for several minutes in Summer and you are likely to see salmon leaping. The car park is free only for locals. You will need to duck into the nearby cafe to pay for your parking. (Paying seems pretty rough given that the short walkway and viewing platform are starting to fall apart and needs some love. ) If you've never seen salmon leaping this is worth the short stop. The falls are more of a series of cascades but the volume and speed of the rushing water is impressive.

Too early in the season for salmon but its still a spectacular place to see with the meltwater rushing through , its very close to the car park and the cafe so its a great place to stop and take it in the view
Short walk down the path to the waterfalls. We didn't see any salmon leap this time but have before. The parking was free as we had a late breakfast in the cafe. Food, tea and coffee were excellent as was the service. Thank you!
Jumping salmon is great but the parking payment situation absolutely sucks - it takes longer to download the required app than it does to walk down and see the salmon.
The waterfall is lovely! Sadly we didn't see any salmon. There are portaloos behind the cafe which are okay. The cafe and toilets are closed unfortunately. Lots of parking. Steep-ish walk down to the falls so may be harder in wet weather or if you have mobility issues.
