Open March - November. Located in Ingoldmells on the sunny East Coast of Lincolnshire close to Skegness, Fantasy Island is the ultimate destination for the whole family. There are so many things to do at Fantasy Island! Our exhilarating rides and roller coasters will test even the bravest thrill-seekers' nerves, while those looking for something more family-friendly will have plenty to choose from. Indulge in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bars across the park as you take a well-earned break.
degdegStill going strong! degdegJust like when we were kids it's as wonderfully fun / cheap / tacky / nostalgic as ever! degdeg Decent sized fair with good selection of rides / games / food and drink establishments. degdeg HUGE market. HUGE selection of stalls, you could probably buy anything to be honest. degdeg5 minute walk to Beach/pier etc. It was clean and tidy. degdegBeach bar are currently putting on a free firework display on the beach, every Saturday night which roughly starts around 10pm (dusk).
Brilliant day out, well worth the money paid, which was PS18.50 per wrist band for unlimited rides. Given that it was out of school holidays, it was great, as we could easily get on and off the rides without having to queue. There are a decent amount of rides to choose from, and the staff on and around them are really nice and friendly too.
We purchased the tickets online with a 10% discount for online booking. The Discovery Tickets, which allow you to go on everything. With the discount was around PS26. We parked in the car park next to Fantasy Island, which costs PS8 if you go over 3 hours. We had 2 people in front of us to get our wristbands. It would help if there was a different kiosk for online orders. As it stands at the moment, you have to line up with people who haven't already booked. The park was tidy with people cleaning it all day, and the bins were emptied regularly. There were plenty of staff around if you had any questions to ask. The time to get on the rides when we arrived was just a couple of minutes. By the afternoon, some rides were about a 40-minute wait. We ate while we were there at an Italian eatery. 2, 12" pizzas and chips a child's hot dog, chips and drink. Plus, 2 cokes and a bottle of water was PS31. We thought this was a reasonable price for a family. There was a huge market with various stalls on offer, which is free to look around. It is a great place for the whole family.
Great value theme park for whole family*. Entry is free. Access to rides can be bought one at a time or by wrist bands. 6 rides is about break even for the purple discovery band for the day. Indoor area is great for little ones with rides for all. Some of the outside rides are good fun too. Market is a fun adventure to wander around and plenty of trinkets to purchase at great prices. If you have a problem with coin operated gaming machines then probably give it a miss. 2p machines; plenty of arcade machines; 10 pin bowling; crazy golf all indoors if weather isn't playing ball. Parking was PS8 for the day. A gem; in my humble opinion most underrated theme park in the UK. Combined tickets with the pier are even better value (see images for offers may 2024)
Fantasy island has something for everyone, a massive theme park, outdoor and indoor market, arcades, parking is not free thou, its PS6 for three hours or PS8 for 24 hours, the roads do get very busy the later you leave it to arrive, best is to get out early for a good parking space, there are absolutely loads of food places to choose from.
Great place to go with kids. You have a choice to use a top up card or buy a wrist band for the rides. The arcade is cards only so you will have to top it up and all tickets save digitally on the card for your next visit. We got a 2 day wristband which gives you unlimted rides and rounds of crazy golf and it also gets you a round of bowling. You tap the wristbands outside the rides to download your photos. They have a bar that opens at 5 that have entertainment on and live acts.
