I'm a city girl all the way from Sydney, so this experience at Kirkton Farm was unlike anything I've experienced. Willie took us (2 adults) on the tour of his farm and talked about what goes into agriculture in Scotland which was very interesting, we took the longer tour which included looking at the Viking burial which I highly recommend. At the end we petted the friendly sheep, shetland pony and cows. If you're this far up the north, I recommend you give Farm Buggy Tours a visit and support this local farm!
We absolutely loved our farm tour. Some of the highlights included: - Being greeted by all the sheepdogs! - Meeting and petting all the amazing animals (Highland Cows!) - Learning all about the fascinating history of the farm Thank you Willie and we couldn't recommend this enough.
Amazing farm and guide. Spent 2,5 hours in nature, could come close to animals, see the views, listen to farm stories. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful time, kids and adults alike loved the animals, the bumpy ride, the history and learning about farming today. Recommend highly! Gorgeous place too!
