This farm-based attraction offers a variety of activities and exhibits for visitors of all ages. The farm is home to a range of animals, including cows, pigs, sheep, and goats, which can be fed and petted. There are also play areas, including a giant inflatable zone, a maize maze, and a tractor-trailer ride. Additionally, the farm features a farm-themed play village, a petting zoo, and a nature trail. Special events and activities are held throughout the year, such as pony rides, animal encounters, and seasonal festivals.
Fantastic day for all our family. Wheelchair access is good around the majority of the site. Staff were all helpful and friendly, but particularly Farmer Max who went out of his way to help our daughter find out more about the guinea pigs, despite having lots of work to do. We all really enjoyed the birds of prey displays and the handler's passion for the birds' welfare was clear to see. The dinosaur experience was great fun and 'Vinny' seemed to enjoy chomping on my head! We can't wait to come back again next year.
This is probably the best day out in the area for your little ones! It's well worth the price and there is no shortage of activities. I took my friends pre-schooler last week, and we were there from open to close! The range of animals is great, and they all seem happy and comfortable and come over to say hi. There are plenty of animal meets, such as guinea pigs and reptiles, and the staff are fantastic at answering your questions and communicating with the kids. We particularly enjoyed the sheep racing, and the ferret racing, getting caught up in the excitement. These shows are great for children of all ages! The Shaun the Sheep theme is great fun, such a timeless character, and those who were in the mascot suits were great at judging the kids reactions to them, high fiving the excited kids and taking it slow, getting down to the kids level if they were shy and a bit nervous. The Shaun the Sheep shows were great fun, there were two showings, and both were different shows, which was great. The shows are located right by the play park, so you don't need to keep them entertained stood waiting. The play park is brilliant and up to date, kid of all ages (and myself) can burn off some energy and have a great time. There is a sandpit inside a circus style tent, providing adequate shade whilst offering play, which was needed as it was a hot day! There's toboggan rides and smaller play areas dotted around, helping to break up the day and offering the kids a chance to let loose. The tractor ride was great fun, it's dinosaur themed, and we really enjoyed it, and the ride finishing lined up with the dinosaur show, where we met very realistic dinosaurs! I was impressed with the dinosaur costumes as you couldn't see the people inside. The noises were fantastic, and those inside the suits were clearly having a great time being playful and mischievous with the kids. The cafe was reasonably priced, and there was plenty of space, as well as a soft play area to keep the kids entertained whilst they wait for their food. If you've not been before, do not be put off by the price. It is worth every penny, and everything is included in the entry fee (apart from some coin-operated go karts). I've been going to these type of attractions for a long time now (my eldest is a teen) and I was really impressed here!
Full day of entertainment for 8 & 4 year old boys. Great mixture of animals and activities. Special shows throughout the day. Some indoor play too. We didn't manage to do everything and we were there 6 hours! Highly recommended for a family day out 5*
A brilliant day out for young families with lots of activities and play areas. The staff were so friendly, very interactive, the garden maze was brilliant, lots to do, lots of animal interaction activities. The cafe was also good.
It's an awesome place for a fun day out. We loved the shows, they are made with the kids and adults in mind. There are multiple playgrounds for big and small kids and the equipment is really well looked after. I can't recommend this place enough. Our kids (two and 8) absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave after a we've spent a whole day. Money well spent!
Well organised with lots to do. Amazing staff who clearly love the animals a lot. Lots of activities and play areas and no extra charges which is great. My niece loved the lambs and pony grooming. Highly recommend. Amazing place. Great value.
