Lovely gallery. Wonderful lighting to have exhibitions. Beautiful and peaceful gardens. Nice little cafe and the building is well maintained and clean. Big parking lot too so easy to drive there !
This is a lovely little theater in an ideal setting next to a river and with easy car parking. We've been there a few times to see our daughter performing but I can imagine that all productions here are both intimate and professional. There's a nice bar area serving the usual drinks plus some really nice homemade snacks.
Went for the monthly market, which is the first Saturday of the month. Some lovely stalls and items to look at. Parking was ok, and there's another car park just over the bridge (5min walk way). The reception area gets really busy, as there's a cafe there - making it hard to get past them.
We went to the Family Festoval today, 23rd September 2023 and I was amazed all that went on and for free. My 4yo daughter adored it. Everyone was so friendly, kind and polite, from the women on the door, to the balloon woman who made us a fairy balloon wand: she never broke her smile, cheer and enthusiasm after hours doing the same thing for hundreds if kids, to the talented face painters, to the gentleman manning the soft play area, to the woman doing the "our town" crafts, to the staff in the cafe and and the women who helped us get out during the busy rush while people were queuing to get in for the show that was taking place right after the family festival event. Just bravo! Brilliant work, all of you!
Visited Unravelled a yarn exhibition - superb very very well organised. Food outlets let the experience down. Knowing the demographics and ticket sales, why on earth was there not more food and cafe staff available. Man, on the till point, completely overwhelmed However, I am still rating superb but will take own supplies next time
Wonderful staff, good food, great place for events, spacious car park. Last event attended was the BeerEx. Lovely people and good live music.
