My dog's favourite place on earth! There's a large field to walk around and play fetch on, with plenty of room around other dog walkers. There are loads of trees which provide shelter in the rain, and shade when the sun is blaring. There's also a lovely woodland next to the field, and a lovely longer circular public footpath on the outskirts of the park, which provides some stunning views of the surrounding farms.
I visited this park for the first time this afternoon. I walked the dog around the woods and the park. We met some lovely fellow dog walkers. There are plenty of benches scattered around if you need a rest. We will definitely visit this place again.
If you have a dog, lots of room to let dog roam freely but I didn't have a dog, just meeting someone
Medium sized park (for Leeds). Some open space and small woodland. Plenty of friendly dogs and responsible owners. Playground for kids and parking. If parking is busy there's ample space along the park's boundary.
Lovely well kept park. Woods to walk through. Great for dogs.
Lovely wide open space with a perimeter route of around 0.6 miles, plus an option to do a short walk in the woods at the opposite end to the car park. The car park holds around 15 cars and next to that is a small play ground for children.
