A 2,000-year-old ancient yew tree standing in the churchyard of St. Oswald's Church in Grasmere, Cumbria, with a massive trunk, twisted branches, and a hollowed-out center, said to be one of the oldest and largest yew trees in England, with a circumference of over 30 feet and a height of around 40 feet.
Not sure how this is a "tourist attraction". It's not even a particularly interesting or old tree, just a Sycamore. Plenty of much nicer Oak trees nearby. The view is good, but don't go out of your way expecting to see an amazing tree.
Very nice tree that you can see from most places in Winlaton, if you're at the tree, you can see most places in Newcastle.
This here tree is the best attraction in Whickham and the surrounding areas 10/10
It's a tree.. nothing more, nothing less. One off the bucket list never the less.
Good for kids
