Rocky, tree-lined ravine with paths beside a winding creek & resident sprites according to legend.
Such a beautiful place that is a perfect go to spot to just get away and relax for a few hours. The views are simply stunning, it's truly Mother Nature at her finest. There is a trust box where you pay a PS1 for parking and PS1 per adult and 50p a child so being change but it's well worth it. Just remember is a place of outstanding beauty so take all your rubbish home with you and leave it as you found it so everyone can enjoy it.
The entry is through a private land and therefore an amount of 1 pound per person was paid, should have cash in hand. Parking fees are extra. The place is wonderful to visit if you would prefer to have a bit of hiking, not too much
Ffos Anoddun, also known as Fairy Glen, a gorge on the River Conwy/ Afon Conwy. The access is on pathways through private land maintained by the owners along with the car park. There is a parking charge of PS1 and an admission charge of PS1 per adult and 50p for children. A place of myth and legend, sprites and demons. Fairy Glen is a spectacular setting and worth the relatively small cost.
Beautiful place, worth PS1 entrance fee (make sure you take some change). Just one word of warning, the final drop down the path to the glen is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, unfortunately.
Beautiful........the walk down is only suitable for ninjas but well worth it. I even liked the lady on the gate
Such a wonderful, magical spot to visit The glen itself is a short walk through the woods, can be quite steep in place but it's well worth it We then doubled back and followed the river, at which point there is a lovely spot for a picnic Worth the 5PS we paid to see it would highly recommend
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
