Finchingfield is a beautiful village in North Essex. Good pubs, coffee shops, and eateries. I would highly recommend a visit.
An iconic village in Essex. Lived here for many years and still miss the village green and tea houses. Very busy in the summer as there are many cyclists and bikers, but still worth visiting in other seasons. Have lunch at Bosworth's or a pint at the Fox. Definitely worth a detour if you are in this part of Essex.
An iconic Essex village green. On the Summer's day we came here workmen had pumped the pond dry so that they could do masonry work on the downstream exit from the pond. This made the spot somewhat less picturesque than usual.
Great place for bikers, a couple of cafes, and a few good roads in the area. Gets very busy on sunny weekends.
You can never tire of this beautiful space! It's beautiful all seasons.
A very picturesque setting. A bygone scene, almost a rural step back in time. A village that has something to behold from every direction.. A traditional church, windmill, pubs and cafes, a village pond, green, benches and tranquility. It does attract many motorcyclist on weekends and bank holidays, however in my experience, they always behave respectfully.
