We opened our doors to the public 40 years ago and were one of the first-ever farm parks in the country. We are now open all year round, with a massive indoor play barn with different areas for different age ranges. There's lots of outdoor play as well, including the Little Farmers Driving School. Throughout the day there are animal handling and feeding activities for children to get involved in. Meerkat Mansion is our latest addition making a Farm-Tastic day out! Events are held during the year with the Easter Extravaganza, Teddy Bears Picnic, Summer Spectacular, Halloween Half Term and Magical Christmas.
Really good place to visit, lots of play areas for children. The animal farm part is really lovely, lots of lovely animals. There is a soft play which is really good. The gift shop is quite expensive, especially the drinks but I guess that's what you expect at these places. Lots of areas to have a picnic. Overall we had a good day, my 3 year old has already asked to go back!
I was impressed with the changes that have been made in the eight years since the last time I went. Additional animals and enclosures and play areas, without spoiling the essence of being close to farm animals. Good entertainment for adults and children. My grandson and I really enjoyed our visit.
This place is amazing for a family day out. We always stay an entire day and our little one is entertained throughout. There are animals, a big outdoor playground and several indoor soft play areas for different ages. There's a reasonably priced restaurant too, as well as plenty of indoor and outdoor picnic tables where you can have your own food as well. Perfect for any kind of weather really. Highly recommend!
Great place to go on your own or as a family. Great for kids of all ages. Wheelchair accessible. Variety of animals big and small. Some new additions like mini golf loads of parking available. I do think they should do a slightly cheaper price for adults who dont have kids as we cant use all of the equipment ie. Play areas and aren't there as long as we would be if we had children. They had a show for the children and face paintings. Indoor soft play which is pretty big. Nice little cafe and a ice cream hut. Also hawk and owl shows. Trampolines, slides, swings, bouncy ballon and much more!.. great day out. Although i did feel really sorry for freckles stuck in a little area on his own. Should be out in the open field with the wind in his hair poor thing.
Been visiting Finkley since I was a child, and have always loved it. Now I have my own it's fun to bring her for the experience too. A fun day out for all ages. You can buy food to feed to some of the animals and there are lots of animals to see, staff are friendly and knowledgeable and there are shows at different times of the day. Large outdoor play area and soft play inside that is divided into ages, which means your little ones don't have to worry about older children, and the older children can have fun without worrying they may hurt a smaller child. Food is nice but slightly pricey, coffee is really good.
Love this place for the kids. Great value and plenty to do. Food is good and reasonably priced, no issues either if you take your own food. My only suggestion is some extra seating (at least four more benches) is needed along the area near the golf and bouncy cages. Often you see parents and particularly grand parents having to stand for long periods of time.
