Excellent local wetlands park, lots of additional trees being planted & some lovely mature specimens. Lots of nature & open space & plenty of seats dotted about; formal paths & nature rambles, soon to have a cafe & community spaces as well. Parking is easy & plentiful on road outside.
Tranquil and not busy when I visited on a weekday. Good paths for accessibility and a few benches around. Good for kids to explore importance of nature with signposts dotted about describing how the wetlands were created.
Relatively local so a nice walk to and through. Decent cafe worth a visit. Other than that not much to see, but pleasantly restful area.
It's so beautiful. Fresh air little canal and pond where some small ducks and found 1 tertol . Very good for a family day trip . Play ground for children and adult .
I love this place although I am living 30 years this area did not known! It is large and open field also there are few ponds. There are 4-5 Footbal grounds but didn't see any one playing.
A wonderful transformation from playing fields into a Wetlands. The team continuously improve the area from developing a woodlands walk and areas for kids to play like sandpits. There are two ponds with plenty of ducks and geese. There is green space for people to relax and have picnics, football fields and tennis courts. The tennis courts have flood lights and these are courts that have to be paid for in certain hours. A beautiful area that I recommend to anyone in the local area.
