Lovely park. Nice walk round flat and also a small park and skate area for others. Good views of Mansfield from here!
GREAT view of Mansfield, looks really nice at night especially its a circuit path that goes around the park, at the entrance next to the road (rock hill) there is a climbing frame that's green and black, not too special but good for children and picnic benches for picnics, its not too far from the car park as we there benches scattered around the circuit path, there's also multiple exits and entrance to the park, as well the main attraction is the skate park, definitely dog friendly as theres loads of room to run around
Just needs a good clean up, rubbish removed like most skate parks. And more bins.
Fantastic value for views of the old Mansfield Town area. Large open space with good links to different suburbs of the town. It would benefit with more leisure amenities and wildlife development schemes to add wildlife space similar to old railway line that runs along the south side of the park, which also gives good leisure links to other parks and reclaimed nature spots in Mansfield.
