This charming 17th-century cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Mousehole, Cornwall, and is famous for its association with the artist Dylan Thomas. The cottage's white-washed walls, thatched roof, and colorful garden create a quintessential Cornish scene.
Very interesting visit to this little cottage that once was home to a family with 12 children!! Make sure you speak with the guide as you can learn about the people and stories from days gone by in Clovelly
Every time we visit Clovelly, visiting the Fisherman's cottage is a must. Never grow tired of looking around the petite rooms and artefacts, finished off with a sweet bag from the lovely sweet shop near the exit.
The lady closed early so we were unable to go in. We were disappointed having spent PS17 on tickets and from what we could understand, the tickets were actually unnecessary to visit Clovelly, just for access to the two small museums and garden.
Great place, loads of history... the cheerful ex-posty behind the counter at the gift shop (sweet shop) was charming..
See how the fisherman lives in the earlier days. Nice to visit.
It gives you great perspective of what it would of looked like.
Live performances
Restaurant
Good for kids
