At this point in time I am a 1 man band who is trying to create a better community for the people of fishwick and callon, I am trying to get areas which seems to be somewhat forgotten, a welcoming place for everyone, which will mean the gate which has never been unlocked, I want unlocked, new pathways for people to explore areas with seating and activities for families, and a place to clear your mind and I hope to be on hand on a daily basis for people finding life difficult, to be on hand around the reserve to offer advice and help were I can with the everyday worries.
Beautiful, serene setting for a peaceful evening walk while taking in the fresh air. Cows and the occasional deer can also be encountered. It welcomes pets. There is toxic giant hogweed, which is harmful. While walking, take care.
Got to really explore the nature reserve during the pandemic, where you could really take advantage of exercising, especially with all the stairs. Beautiful calm place to go walking and enjoy the air, you can come across the odd deer now and then, the cows are great company too. It is dog friendly as far as I know. If you walk all the way down to the river and follow it along you can get an area low enough to touch the water. My nephew loved it.
A lovely place for a walk, with fantastic views throughout. A good place to visit on your own, with family and / or friends. It's wonderful listening to the wildlife too.
Lovely area located in Preston, it's hard to believe it's in the middle of the city - nice piece of forest, wild life and country side in one place.
Every gate was locked I went to the bmx track the gravel was slippery and I fell Im gonna jump the owner of the bmx track I am back I went and jumped the fence and it was ok but I left cuz yk
Just love this place for the peaceful time you can have there. Not overrun with crowds or screaming kids, you can actually hear nature around you. Great at any time of the day.
