A 3-mile stretch of sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports, with picturesque views of the Irish Sea and the Lake District hills in the distance.
I loved this little place! It has a real oldie worldie feel to it with lots of Victorian architecture, quiet sandy beach and friendly locals. Unfortunately Rossall Point was closed but I was impressed with the Free parking. Well worth a visit.
Beautiful beach clean but slightly pebbled in places lovely prom to walk on ,lots of benches and places to sit had to knock a star of for the toilet's though 40p in and we're dirty and water not working seems to be a theme on this coast as they were the same in St Anne's last week
Very, very windy. But still lovely
View across Morecambe Bay from Fleetwood beachfront on a calm winters day, showing the snow capped hills of the late district in the distance.
If you like it quiet visit Fleetwood beach. Plenty of room no crowds. Lots of seating. It's clean few cafes on the promenade. Really nice.
An ever changing view.
