This playpark features a range of equipment for kids of all ages, including climbing frames, slides, and swings. The park also has a skate park and a basketball court for older kids and teenagers. The playground is surrounded by a large open green space, perfect for picnics or running around. There are also benches and seating areas for parents to supervise and relax.
Lovely place with play facilities, a quiet memorial garden and river walk. Beautiful setting. Only downside, accessibility for mobility scooters very difficult with the type of entrances into the park. Main gate locked.
The recreational grounds have a near by Office, recreational area for kids, You can buy a fishing licence for the day in the office 150 yards away from the river. The place is filled with beauty
Beautifully scenic area with a play area, pool (although closed till further notice) plus drinks and icecream shack. Plenty of space for a family picnic although toilets are closed due to repeated vandalism.
Nice playground for children under 10. The park is open to the stream. No dogs allowed although some users ignoring signs and taking dogs in. Cafe serving sandwiches and snacks.
A great family place. We enjoyed sitting next to the river watching the wildlife pass us by. Further on, children were playing on the shore splashing around having fun. There is a children's play park and also a skateboard park. A lovely cafe is on the grounds from which we enjoyed a cup of tea and cake. There are toilets on site, but due to the smell and condition I'd only use in an emergency . These really need to be cleaned regularly. So to sum this up, the place is great for the day bit on the downside the toilet facilities let it down.
Great place to take children. Small paddling pool that is shallow, can swim in the river, feed the ducks and fish, go paddleboarding, play in the park and all in the same place. Beautiful surroundings and a kiosk that sells sandwiches, drinks and ice cream. There are also toilets by the kiosk. Parking is reasonably priced opposite the park. Alternatively, you can park by the rugby club for free and walk down. Great day out!
