Tranquil woodland art trail open since 1986 with 16 discreet, nature-inspired sculptures.
This place is a fantastic one, plenty of signage and signposts of where to go but that's not all.. It's a very good walk which makes you feel like your having a good workout, the location itself is lovely and of course the final two sculptures were my favourites. I loved the rainbow modern sculpture at the end and the cathedral stein window art, we thought they were both fab and the whole adventure was epic (another one of my mum's adventures from previously) it was enjoyable for both of us and we loved it
Fantastic place for a family day out. Wonderful park, breathtaking views, large picnic area enjoyable walking paths! Highly recommend I will definitely be coming back
Great little 5-6 mile trail with easy going hills best enjoyed early morning Arrived at 9.30am and paid PS5 for parking [P] Public toilets were clean The trail itself is well signed and easy to follow.
Good trail but be warned it's very hilly for little ones. Some good short cuts but they miss out on some of the best sculptures so we made our own route. Parking is PS5 for 3 hours and goes to the maintenance of the forest (yes you can park down the road for free but come on). The coffee and cafe are also nice. Playground was a good bribe to get the kids back around to the start again and a nice 10 minute end to the walk
A long walk, mostly but not all fireroad. Some outstanding sections that pass along a much narrower path in some really beautiful woodland. Two shortcuts are available if you don't want to do the whole route in one go.
Easy walks with some thought provoking sculptures that span over 40 years of installation in the forest. Dog friendly and magical woodlands to explore. Great day out. And there's a Go Ape too!
