Lark park with woodland, kids' playground, miniature railway, picnic area and pitch and putt.
A great place to spend a day here. There is a miniature train here. It's popular with kids and grown up kids. Lots of parking spaces and it's free to park. Make sure to leave the car park by 8:00 pm. It might change with the season but in summer it is 8:00 pm. You can walk along the Basingstoke canal and enjoy the view.
lovely place for a family/dog walk plenty of space, parks for children open field spaces and scenic canal and woodland walks with cafe and toilets
Absolutely beautiful park. My son ran a 5k park run and beat his PB! While he was running, my two little ones played in the park... they didn't want to leave!
I used to take my boys here when they were little. Lots of space for football and picnics. The dogs love it there, especially going for a dip in the canal. We often walk along by the canal to the Mytchett center and the cafe there. There's also a little train that runs around the far end and a field for bbqs and picnics. Mini golf and a cafe make it a fun place to go with the kids.
This is such a lovely park. I have been in this park 6 or 7 times since I moved to the area and I still find areas I haven't seen before. There is plenty of parking options. There is a lovely coffee shop. (Unfortunately for me there are no vegan options there). I take my friends dogs there when I look after them and they get so excited when we go there. So this park got human and dogs approval alike.
Lovely walk by the canal, nice scenery, relaxing place.
