A 2ft narrow gauge railway that runs through the Frimley Lodge Park in Surrey, offering a scenic ride through the woodland and around the lake, with a variety of locomotives and carriages, including steam, diesel, and petrol-powered trains, as well as open-top and enclosed coaches, operating on weekends and bank holidays from Easter to October.
We went for my sons birthday as he loves trains ! He loved the train ride and seeing the trains . There was a lot of people pushing into the queue with big families so it ment everyone all ready in line had to wait longer . The train drivers could have been a bit friendly. But the guys who showed you to the train and told you instructions were super lovely and very easy to understand ! X Would go again x
Great train ride with the grandchildren, very well run by enthusiasts, can not complain at PS3.00 for three of us, Definitely will return
Little trains run by characterful staff; my son's eyes lit up when he saw the tracks. For PS1.50 a person (free for under 3s) it was great value. Timing was key, though.. The train after ours had a huge queue!
The miniture railway is open once a month but more frequently during holiday periods. Great for picnics with a large play area, snack shop and very nice loos. This place is large so it only feels crowded in the play area
Fun little train ride through the park. It lasted for longer than I expected. Great for kids
One of the best places to bring your kids! Kids ride for free, adults are PS1.50 and trust me, you'll want to go around a few more times. My kid loved every second of it and wants to go there every time we're in the area.
On-site services
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
