This 12-acre park in Nottinghamshire, England, features a stunning memorial tower, beautiful gardens, and a tranquil atmosphere. The park's centerpiece is the 110-foot-tall Garrington Memorial Tower, built in 1923 to commemorate the life of local MP and philanthropist, Sir Harry Garrington. Visitors can climb the tower for panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The park's gardens are meticulously maintained, with vibrant flowerbeds, walking trails, and a serene pond. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for relaxation, picnics, and leisurely strolls.
Hello all, just wanted to share my views on this little part of Bromsgrove. The housing estate was built on the old Barrington's site,a big company which had a family feel about it. It's seems to me nothing has changed! There is always a friendly face when walking through the estate and there is always something being organised for the children such as Halloween and Christmas . The park it's self is a restful place kept tidy by the residents. Well done one and all
Lovely small area tucked away, i went for a craft/Christmas fair it was easy to get to but limited parking
