A 55-acre park featuring a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, and other aquatic creatures. Visitors can rent boats and enjoy a leisurely ride on the lake, or take a stroll around the perimeter and enjoy the scenic views. The park also features several playgrounds, a skate park, and a café serving refreshments.
Came here to finally track down a geocache whilst England were playing their Euro 2024 semi-final. It seems nice enough around here.
It is my local park but quite busy. Lovely play area for children and nature reserve area .
Big park with lots of walks and playing space. Kids playground with great climbing frames, roundabout, and swings.
This is a nice place when young children are using the playground and responsible adults are using the park. The problem is the adolescents who hand around in the young children's playground. They congregate in the pirate boat (which was burned down and replaced. They use very foul language and don't care who hears it. Even toddlers. When they are not lurking around the play equipment it is a nice park.
Excellent open park with reserve woodland beside it, nice small children's park with climbing equipment and slides, skate ramps and half pipes in a dedicated area beside it. The park has 2 main paths and several exit/entrances beside it. Football pitch is in the larger section of the grassy area
Living next to the park is such a bliss specially during this pandemic. This park has been recently renovated with walk ways and now we have access to the nature reserve as well. I have a toddler who always wants to run and play here. I would highly recommend people staying near by to take a break from their routine lives and spend some good time in the park..:)
