This 4-mile circular walk offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the Brecon Beacons and the surrounding countryside from the highest point in Cardiff, Garth Mountain. The trail takes you through woodland, across open moorland, and along a ridge, with the option to extend your walk to explore the nearby Taff Ely Valley.
Beautiful walk, leads down to the dyke walk going to the aqua duct and further if you care to. It was cloudy the day I was there, but the trees and colours going through that area were worthy of being created by Bill Alexander.
Great place to visit for a healthy walk. A lot of great and stunning views. Plenty places to go for a small picnic, there is no bins so all rubbish need to be taken back.
