This beautiful garden is a tranquil oasis in the heart of Surrey, featuring a stunning collection of plants and flowers. The garden's design is a masterpiece of horticultural art, with vibrant colors and textures blending together in perfect harmony. Meandering paths invite visitors to explore the various sections, including a rock garden, a rose garden, and a woodland walk. The garden's pièce de résistance is its stunning herbaceous borders, which burst with colorful blooms in the summer months. A charming pergola, adorned with climbing roses and wisteria, adds a touch of romance to the already enchanting atmosphere.
This is a fantastic garden. Original 1908 Jekyl..then lost in time over the decades until 1981 when it was rediscovered and rebuilt. Amazing. Open May to July.
What a stunning garden! Worth every penny of the entrance fee. The only reason it's only open on weekdays is that this delightful garden is someone's home. The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable - it was so lovely to meet them. They are also in the garden working and very willing to stop and chat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
An absolutely delightful garden! The house and garden were bought in a derelict state in 1984 and have been lovingly restored by Rosamund the current owner according to the original Jekyll plans, copies of which survive and are on display in the garden. Rosamund gives a short introduction when you first arrive and makes you feel quite at home. We will definitely be returning!
What a delightful place. I really enjoyed walking around Gertrude Jekyll's garden. There were bees buzzing around the plants and butterflies sun bathing on various flowers. A very quiet place with so many different areas to see.
