Time-tested, peaceful site of 2 historic chambered tombs, plus panoramic coastal views.
The hike to the Giants Graves and the waterfall is- INCREDIBLE! I recommend following the water up, and there's a second route on through the grave site to go down. Be ready for a BUNCH of stairs, downhill fast, and it's a very fun jog!
Very nice circular walk which we did clockwise thus taking in the steepest part first. We visited the falls and the Iron age hillfort on the way back to the coast.
Lovely circular walk encompassing Glenashdale Falls. A couple of steeper pulls but relatively easy-going
So interesting. Reasonably challenging walk in.. mostly uphill! But well worth the effort!
It was raining with a low cloud base so no views from the top the day I visited. I walked anti-clockwise, so I'd already walked to the falls. Signage is less good in this direction. Their is no signpost showing where to go once you are at the Giant's Grave. The path, leading back to the starting path is accessed directly from the Giant's Grave at the far end from where you gained access.
Got a beautiful day so views were stunning
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
