Gleaston Park is a 19th-century country house situated in the Furness area of Cumbria, England. The house features a mix of Gothic and Tudor architectural styles, with turrets, battlements, and pointed arch windows. The estate encompasses 3,500 acres of parkland, woodland, and farmland, offering scenic walks, picnic areas, and opportunities to spot local wildlife such as deer and birds. The park's gardens include a walled garden, a rock garden, and a woodland walk, showcasing a variety of plant species.
Lovely little park in a quiet village. Equipment well maintained and one activity for the adults as well. There is a field with a goalpost specifically for children (dogs not allowed). There is also a lovely walk along the stream where my grandchildren play pooh sticks on the bridge. A short walk away is the Mill which has a small gift shop and cafe. There is a carved owl in the play area for donations as the park is run and maintained by the locals. Please give it's worth it.
Took the baby here a few times as we live in the next village along (leece) good for small children and they have a great sense of community plus they have events on throughout the year
Love this park , beautiful setting and lots of fun
