This 7-mile circular route takes you through some of Scotland's most breathtaking landscapes, offering stunning views of the Three Sisters of Glencoe, a trio of distinctive mountain peaks. The trail begins in the Glencoe car park and follows a well-marked path that winds its way through woodland, along rivers, and over moorland, offering glimpses of the surrounding mountains and valleys. As you walk, you'll pass by picturesque waterfalls, ancient ruins, and historic landmarks, including the 19th-century Meeting of the Three Waters monument. The trail's highest point offers panoramic views of the Glencoe valley, while the descent takes you through a tranquil forest, eventually returning you to the starting point.
Beautiful walk through a lush green forest. Path is easy to follow. I walked to Clachaig Inn and back as I heard that not all sections of the Orbital Walk are completed.
Don't walk this expecting it to go round and back to glencoe. The only orbit it does is of the moon The paths incomplete and finishes around the Red Squirrel campsite The other part is from glencoe to the new visitor centre. Do not try and walk the A82! Saying that. The path was clear. We walked 4.5 miles up and back.
Nice little walk. Worth it.
Nice simple walk, but rainy :)
