Glenwhan Gardens has been described as one of the most beautiful made gardens in Scotland with unique & stunning sea views across to the Isle of Man, Luce Bay, and the Mull of Galloway. Please note, the Tearoom is closed now until 1st April, 2024. Toilets remain open.

Beautiful gardens. You can easily spend almost all day there. Lots of different trees, flowers and statues. If you like taking pictures of insects it's a bee heaven Tearoom has got delicious cakes- we tried carrot cake and lemon cake but the winner turned out to be a vegan jaffa cake
What a delight these gardens are, we were totally charmed despite the weather. So many gorgeous plants,all labelled, dogs allowed on leads,super-friendly staff and a lovely family tea room with lots of delicious cake. Thank you for a great visit
Beautiful gardens especially when the rhododendrons are in flower , plenty of walks through the garden and surrounding trees with great views over the lakes. The added bonus is the tea room, tasty hot dishes and homemade cakes, the ecclefechan tart was delicious
Fabulous gardens developed on moorland since the 1970's. Beautiful walkways and changing vistas that have been developed with a very good eye. A real must see for any gardener.
Liked: The Shepherds Hut was comfortable and well equipped. The gardens were amazing, very beautiful and tranquil. We had a wonderful few days.
