Located in South-East Crawley you can find us nestled in popular Tilgate Park. With stunning lakes, woodland to explore and a Walled Garden, it's the ideal setting for a great day out in West Sussex. Go Ape Crawley boasts three high ropes courses - catering for those aged 4 to 104. If you're looking for things to do close to Brighton, Go Ape is one of the best attractions around.
Absolutely loved our time at GoApe. We did the treetop challenge which is the higher and more challenging course. Safety briefing with Jack was excellent and we took to the 5 courses with confidence. It's quite tough but most enjoyable and we can't wait to return.
Absolutely fantastic. Our kids (7 and 9 yr olds) loved it! There are three loops they can do, a practice run, and then two more that are more challenging. Parents/ guardians can stay and follow the progress all the way through on the ground below, or join in in the trees!! 100% recommended. Great instructors, who are patient with the kids and give a good briefing to make it fun and safe.
Loads of fun around the course, instructors were all super friendly and ran through the safety information thoroughly. Course took us about 2.5 hours after the initial safety briefing so about 3 hours in total for a group of 7. Took our time a bit as there was heavy rain but that just added to the fun!
Great event and course at Tilgate Park. The earliest spot is generally best. Perfect for young children to test their endurance, balance etc. A good mix of easy and challenging courses. Towards mid-day, feels quite crowded. Tilgate Park is also a great location offering other activities to do. Plenty of parking and facilities. Go Ape somewhat expensive for only an hour - particularly if busy as it restricts your time on the course and so this is a consideration to be noted.
Go Ape Crawley is a fantastic place for children, and their staff is amazing. Despite a busy day with long queues, they generously allowed extra time for the kids to enjoy the activities fully. Their commitment to ensuring a great experience for every child is truly commendable.
A fun activity for adventurous children. The course has three different routes, each one slightly more difficult/challenging than the previous one, so it's a gradual shift to gain experience/confidence as you go. Staff also check that you know what you're doing before you head out on the course, which is good health and safety. My only disappointment was that there's not much help or a way of handling children who get scared, leaving a few adults I saw having to miss out on the fun because one person in a group lost confidence. There's no staff available to help/encourage them along or look after them for a few minutes whilst the rest of the group carries on. It's just expected that you loose your money, which is a shame.
