The gateway to the Tweed Valley Forest Park and home to a high-ropes hidden giant. Boasting some of the longest and highest zip wires in Scotland, Go Ape Glentress Forest is in a league of its own. We're an hour's drive south of Edinburgh and you can find us in the Scottish Borders next to the town of Peebles. Our Treetop Challenge is a 2-3 hour experience and is a great outdoor activity for friends and older families alike. Scramble up rope ladders, tackle tree top obstacles and fly down super-speedy ziplines. Additional facilities at Glentress also include the 200-seat Cafe, Glentress Peel bikes and a Wild Watch centre. Why not make a day of it?
I've participated in the Treetop Challenge twice in 2 months. I enjoyed it the first time so much I knew I had to come back with my family when they visited. The staff are incredibly helpful and patient throughout the challenge.
Absolutely amazing experience! We did the Go Ape Treetop Challenge... and it really was challenging... but so much fun! The staff are incredible! They were friendly and encouraging and made the day even more enjoyable! My son said "we have to come back!" at least 5 times on the way home! Thank you, Go Ape Peebles x
Staff were so helpful, wife had forgotten her boots, they found a spare pair, a lot more physical to get to the zip wire than we thought, however made it even more of an achievement, and staff were so patient with those that hovered on doing it or not, they really go that extra mile.And the whole thing well worth going out of your comfort zone
Little hard to find once parked but was such a great experience! all of the instructors and staff were excellent and very friendly. Equipment was very well looked after and I'd love to come back again.
