You can find us in the heart of Lancashire, a 20 minute drive from Bolton. Tucked away in the borough of Chorley our high ropes experience lies adjacent to Lower Rivington Reservoir. If you're looking for things to do and a fun day out close to Manchester look no further. Our Treetop Challenge is a 2-3 hour experience which includes zip lines and high wire obstacles. Designed for young couples, friends and families with kids over the age of 10 - we're one of Lancashire's best outdoor activities. We're also the only Go Ape to feature a zip wire over water. Fact.

I haven't had a go at this though it looks amazing I'm generally walking through the woods with my partner Louise and our dog Jazzy. We seen Go Ape for many years and whilst walking on Monday it was great seeing people enjoy the experience especially going over the water Maybe one day I'll give you a true experience
Staff are amazing, friendly, made us feel soo welcome and built a very friendly environment with in minutes. Children loved the activities and the staff explained it so well and children even listened they have a very good family friendly environment and very caring. They make sure you have fun. Thanks team Rivington.
My daughter and I loved Go ape Rivington. The instructors made us feel relaxed and confident upon arrival and the safety briefing was clear, easy to understand and well explained. The tree top challenge itself was exiting, fun not too difficult. We finished the course full of adrenaline and wanted to go around again. I would fully recommend this Go ape and hopefully visit again.
Team here were fantastic. Really informative and then supportive when I was flapping up the top of a tree!
Had a fantastic experience and definitely recommend. I had 2 grandchildren aged 12 and 10 and myself. We hadn't done anything like this before, and what a fabulous day made by the experience and dedication of the staff. Max was a god send for granddaughter who was apprehensive and stayed along with us and encouraged her to overcome her fear. Also Tom helped me to choose on the next to last challenge my best option and stayed until I had completed it. The course had multiple levels with options along the way to stop if needed. All staff really friendly and what a great bunch of people to be around. Thanks again for making our day awesome.
