This is where it all began in the heart of Thetford Forest back in 2002. Our first ever Go Ape experience in the UK. A patchwork of pines, heathland and broadleaves provide the ideal setting for a great day out. Whether you're looking for things to do nearby with the kids or something memorable to experience with friends we have adventure covered. Thetford plays host to four of our high ropes courses - catering for those aged 4 to 104. Explore the forest on two wheels with our all-terrain Segways or explore the wooded canopy. Finally, test your mettle against Go Ape's newest and most demanding high ropes experience. It's tough. Proper tough. It's called Challenge Plus.
Brilliant morning on the treetop challenge. A special mention to Sumner for being patient and encouraging to our little group of 3 mature ladies... would highly recommend. Only bad thing is the car park prices.
GO-APE: The best place for a laugh and some fun! I went with my partner as we both love to do adrenaline filled activities. Our instructor for our time slot was Josh, really energetic, engaging and a good laugh to get us set up to go around the course, he made sure we were all comfortable and ready to go! All the staff were polite, friendly and good fun! Thanks for everything :)
We had a brilliant time on the Segways this morning - such fun - an hour wasn't enough! Special thanks to Rowan and Ellie for taking their time and not rushing my 'senior' parents. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
I am not a fan of heights but it was my husbands birthday and he had been wanting to go... although i was terrified, it was a blast. you get a very clear training by one of the pros before heading out and they make sure you know what you are doing. great day activity
Had such a great time at Go Ape today for my sister's birthday. My sister struggled on a bit and got stuck, but our instructor Megan was brilliant and helped her out. Thank you Megan for your patience's. Thank you to the young male employee at the end who took our photo. I will be back but not sure about my sister.
Had a fantastic day to mark Mother's Day with my tribe. I took my 2 kids who are 6 and 4 on the treetop adventure with my husband. Despite the rain we had a wonderful time. I was so impressed with how brave both kids were. All staff are professional, friendly and helpful with a special thanks to Cameron (I believe that's his name, had a northern accent) who was superb He really helped my kids feel comfortable and at ease. He especially helped my 4 year old who was getting wet and cold by offering her his gloves and giving her a helping hand. I really appreciated his kindness. So proud of her for doing the zip line. We'll be back again for the treetop adventure plus. Thank you
