Welcome to England's only true mountain forest. Whinlatter boasts unrivalled views across Bassenthwaite Lake, Derwentwater and Keswick. Located in the North West of the Lake District, you'll find us in the heart of it. It plays host to two of our high ropes activities, built in 2022, as well as our all-terrain Forest Segway experience. The latter includes dramatic views across this unique landscape. Safety was always number one and taken very seriously. The staff on hand are excellent not only reassuring you but looking after your needs and answering any question you may have. I don't like heights but I was always made feel safe and with encouragement I completed the course.
A great experience for the family with a good 90 minutes of activity. We were fortunate we didn't have any queues. The 4 stars was primarily for the repetition of activities on run, more variety would be welcome. The final zip line on the plus category was pretty underwhelming compared to red/yellow. The staff were great. Thank you all
Great family experience! Huge shout out to the team today who were really supportive and helped my wife get around the adventure plus trail this afternoon! She's recovering from breast cancer which, after surgery has left her with little upper body strength! Thank you again, you guys are amazing
Excellent fun with some great sections to navigate, both my boys absolutely loved it. The only downside is the amount of time you get in the actual canopy, would have liked to actually go around for 1 hour rather than the 35-40 you actually get by the time you do the intro and waiting for other people to get up and go round

Absolutely brilliant experience!! It was quite daunting at first (especially for the kids) but the staff were all very informative and supportive so we got into it after a while. The kids confidence grew over the hour or so we spent in the trees and we all had a good time there. I loved watching the kids work together as a team as well, totally priceless! The scenery and surroundings are incredible as well. Just a great all round experience that I would recommend to anyone.
