West of Birmingham, close to Bewdley and Kidderminster, you can find us in the heart of Wyre Forest. Our Worcestershire location plays host to two of our high ropes experiences. We're just off the A456 - at a place called Callow Hill. Whether you're looking for things to do nearby with the kids or a day out with friends we have adventure covered. Treetop Adventure is a one hour experience aimed at kids and young families. They're popular for birthday parties if you're after a unique celebration. Treetop Challenge is for those over 1.4 metres tall and is 2-3 hours of high wire obstacles, Tarzan Swings and ziplines. If you're looking for action packed fun in the midlands, we're one of the best attractions around.
If you like thrills, like a challenge, not afraid of heights plus enjoying fresh air and the opportunity to be amongst trees, this is the place to be. Just going to the Wyre forest is an incredible experience, but the Go Ape experience if you are physically fit is rewarding. I am seventy, so although some parts I found more challenging, once I completed it, I felt a huge sense of achievement. The staff are brilliant, give you a good safety briefing and fit you in the safety harness. At all times, you feel in control if you follow the required safety code and learn to trust the safety equipment. Would I do it again, quite possibly as knowing what to expect would make it easier. Wear sensible clothing and prepare to get a little dirty on landing after using the breath taking zip lines.
Today was all about conquering a fear of height (mine) and a fear of the zip wire (youngest granddaughter). My daughter and eldest granddaughter had done the course before and were both confident. Right from the start, I felt we were in excellent hands. We hadn't brought gloves with us, so we purchased them at the kiosk for PS3.99. We then left our bags in the lockers provided. We chose to do the lower level course for obvious reasons. The harnesses were all laid out ready, and we were instructed on how to put them on before the instructors fitted and tightened them. We had clear and precise instructions, both visual and oral, in how to use the wire trolley and clip properly and safely. There were several instructors around helping and encouraging people. We had Luke and Oz, who were absolutely brilliant. I'm not ashamed to admit I had a couple of times when I felt I couldn't do it. I felt frozen and a bit panicked, but with gentle encouragement, I was able to move forward and complete the course just behind my granddaughter, who absolutely aced the zip wire! We both went on to do the course again, which I put down to the never-ending encouragement from Luke and Oz.
Great adventure for our family day out. Superb facilities and excellent safety instruction. The emphasis was on everyone being totally happy with the safety around every element of the course.Have been before and will definitely be back again. Brilliant day out for the family. Highly recommended.
Fantastic staff, really enthusiastic and super friendly. Really well laid out course. Health and safety as good as you could expect. Got their game down to a tee. Would recommend and will go again. Good job guys.
We went to go ape on Wednesday and had the best afternoon! Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming with a very informative safety brief. Looking forward to booking again, if you haven't been before you need to go! So much fun. Special thank you to Matt and his team!
I came on Monday with my mum and my two daughters. The eldest (11) has done the course before and was really excited. My youngest (8) has tried it previously and was unable to complete it as she was scared. I had forgotten that my mum also is not fond of heights (bad daughter!) when I asked her if she wanted to come, to make it easier with two children of different abilities and confidence levels... The staff were great, everyone we had dealings with was friendly, helpful and inspired confidence. Luke and Oz especially were great with banter and giving something else to think about whilst on the course, the conversation about sweets was definitely a help for the girls! And the young man on the zipwire, I think his name was George, was also really good at keeping everyone calm and giving encouragement. A brilliant day out, and one I would thoroughly recommend!
