This wildlife reserve is home to over 30 species of animals, including red deer, fallow deer, and wild boar. We used a number of guns, ranging from basic air rifles, through to pistols, machine guns and sniper rifles. They all fire pellets and are air powered so they were relatively easy to handle, but properly tested your skills. Gary had safety top of mind throughout, even when he showed us a working (but not for us to use) rocket propelled grenade and launcher. Finally, you have the option to buy essentially unlimited pellets. Make sure you bring some cash to do so.
Special Weapons experience was fantastic. Garry was a brilliant host, friendly, fun, knowledgeable and safe. Excellent for all ages and was a birthday treat for my 11yr old who loved every minute. Amazing set of guns to try. Wood burner is a lovely touch for colder days, Will be back to try other activities!
I was recommended to Garry for my PDS1 Skills assessment. Since I had no prior experience with high-power rifles, I decided to take Garry's Introduction to Firearms course on the same day as my assessment. I am very pleased with my decision, as the course provided me with a much deeper understanding of how to handle the rifle safely, which is of utmost importance to me. I had a very positive day and would recommend anyone who wants to learn and be safe to contact Garry and do the course.
Highly recommend going to this shooting range!! The special weapons experience was very interesting, educational, and really enjoyable! We got to do target practice with air rifles and shoot different targets with different weapons throughout the 2hrs, and with emphasis on safety! Would definitely go back again!
Great place, great range of activities available. I've only used the "Bring your own airgun" option on their range, which has been expanded with additional firing points, and a plethora of targets out to 100m+.
First time trying archery and it was fantastic! The weather was also great so the whole experience was just in another level! The staff were so friendly! We loved it!
