This 12-acre park in Farnham, Surrey, features a tranquil lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is also home to a children's play area, a skate park, and several sports facilities, including tennis courts, a bowling green, and a football pitch. Visitors can enjoy the park's natural beauty, take a leisurely stroll, or engage in active pursuits.
Great park, loads of things to do. Also has a small track with hills for small kids to play in there bikes or scooters. all of it is pretty new.
A really lovely little play park that has areas suitable for all ages. There is a little 'road' that goes around the park which is great for the kids to practice on their scooters/bikes etc. There's a decent sized sand pit area too. What's also great is that there are toilets with baby changing facilities there too, which were surprisingly clean!!! And to top it off, there was a little shack selling teas, coffees, sandwiches, cakes, ice creams etc - such a lovely little park. And if you have older kids, there is a skate park and a big, flat field for football etc.
This is a great place for kids!! A small cafe sits in the middle with seating area that over looks the play area, amazing hot chocolate by the way! A sand pit for the smaller kids, a zip wire along with climbing fram for the bigger kids. A very large green area, suitable footpaths all the way round. Lots of room for dog walkers too! My kids love this place in the summer months. Area is enclosed too!
The park is improving all the time. The updates to the kid's playground are very welcome. There is perhaps more they can do. The running track is excellent too. The piece de resistance is Brewbox opening a coffee shop kiosk by the playground. If the Council can extend the seating area and perhaps provide some cover there, it will go strength to strength. The only disappointment is the poorly thought out and procured fitness machines. The location makes no sense and is too far from other amenities. The machines themselves are largely useless. Resistance doesn't function and the machines have been foolishly set into the grass, meaning the area around them becomes muddy. When done properly like in Horam or Southborough they are a great, useful tool. The council need to cut their losses and remove them. Move them closer to the kid's play area or within and go for something from TGO or Hags. Such a waste of funds.
Fantastic views and running track. Perfect venue for Crowfest this year.
