Amazing small museum packed with so much history. Greeted by the owner who was happy to give some background and answer a few questions..... definitely worth watching the short films available. I asked if I could take a few photos to show my family and was allowed to do so for a small donation. Probably allow an hour and a half to appreciate all of the artefacts....and you'll still miss something....a good reason for a return visit.

This museum is a hidden gem. Decided to visit as I'm very interested in different types of folk art. The painted vardos were truly stunning. The care and craftsmanship and different styles used by the various crafts people truly blew me away. Every item in the museum has a story behind it, a rare insight into the past lives of the Romany people and their proud heritage. As for Mrs Boswell and her lovely daughter, they are full of knowledge and stories and make visitors very welcome.
