A working 12th Century Mill in the heart of the Gower Peninsula with shops, a cafe, a craft centre and the closest parking for the world famous Three Cliffs Bay
Was ok if you're into this type of thing. Constantly had my hand in my pocket forking out money in such a small place. PS5 to park plus extra PS3 for Heritage entrance and PS3.40 for a loaf of bread(was nice mind) but overpriced. Not for me but, worth a visit.
Smashing day out. Went with a group from 3 to 43, kids from 3 to 13, 19 of us altogether. Something for everybody. Captivating displays of social history, so much to see. Tasty food. Great gift shop with local produce (including various flours from the mill). Easy access to beautiful historic parkland and also to three cliffs bay. Highly recommend, we'll be back.
We had a fantastic day at the Gower heritage Centre. Not only is the place very nice and perfect for a sunny day outside with the family, but it also has plenty of very interesting information, activities for kids and a great cafe. Definitely one not to miss if you are in the area!
Fun and kooky place. Lots to see, birds were great, we loved playing dress up with the masks, highly recommend for some old school activities.
A bit worn out, but probably ideal for families with young children who want to run around and see some animals. The mill illustrations were fun to see. The cider enterprise was. Interesting and different. Worth a 10 minute stop for PS8? Maybe. We did get to use the toilets, so that probably sways into a "for sure" deal. The bakery's (separate business, I think) croissant was damn good.
Nice spot to visit. There is an interesting museum with a nice shop where you can buy locally made cider. It's a nice spot if you plan to visit the Three Cliffs Bay. You can park your car and take a walk (it's 30-40 minutes from the center).
